The Meeting takes place at Scandic Star in the university town Lund in south Sweden 600 km south of Stockholm and 20 km north-east of Malmö. The main railroads Malmö - Göteborg (Gothenburg) - Oslo and Malmö - Stockholm passes Lund. The main roads on the same routes passes just outside Lund. There are two airports in the neighbourhood: Malmö - Sturup and Copenhagen - Kastrup airport in Denmark which most international connections use.

Taxi to Lund

You should always agree on a FIXED price for your taxi-travel while in Sweden. As a guest at MAX-lab you may ask for the "University price" in the taxis belonging to TAXI SKÅNE.

The price from Malmö-city to Lund is 285:- and from Malmö-Sturup to Lund 395:-. Make sure that you ask for the "university price" before entering the taxi.

From Copenhagen Airport

There are direct trains from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö Central station, departures every 20 minutes during daytime and evenings and approximately every hour during nights (timetable). The travel time is 21 minutes. Buy the train ticket at the DSB ticket office at the Airport just above the quays, or from a ticket machine. Some trains are through-trains and will continue to Lund after Malmö Central station. Otherwise change to local train (Pågatåg) or taxi to Lund

From Malmö-Sturup Airport

There are special busses (Flygbuss) between Malmö-Sturup Airport and Lund from early morning to evening. The travel time is less than 40 minutes. You can also use a taxi.

From the railway station to Scandic Star

A nice 20-30 min walk, A short taxi ride.
Local bus nr 5 towards "Glimmervägen 5" takes 12 minutes.
