The meeting will to a large extent focus on the MAX IV project. The contract for the building has been signed, and construction will commence shortly. The detailed design of the machine is well under way. A proposal to support beamline construction at MAX IV has recently been submitted to the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW) by the Swedish Research Council (VR), and we are awaiting the outcome of this proposal. At this dynamic moment in the MAX IV project, we hope that you will take this opportunity to get informed about the MAX IV project and influence its direction.

23rd Annual User Meeting

November 8-10, 2010, Scandic Star, Lund, Sweden

The first two days include plenary talks, status reports for MAX-lab and the MAX IV project, user presentations (oral as well as a poster session at MAX-lab on Monday evening) and the FASM session. The banquet will be on Tuesday evening.
