How to get to MAX-lab

MAX-lab i situated in the university town Lund in south Sweden 600 km south of Stockholm and 20 km north-east of Malmö. The main railroads Malmö - Göteborg (Gothenburg) - Oslo and Malmö - Stockholm passes Lund. The main roads on the same routes passes just outside Lund. There are two airports in the neighbourhood: Malmö - Sturup and Copenhagen - Kastrup airport in Denmark which most international connections use.

Taxi to Lund.

Ask for the price before you get into a taxi. Don't go by an unregistered taxi-driver who drives illegally. You can pre-order Flygtaxi from Sturup Malmö Airport. As a guest at MAX-lab you may ask for the "university price" in the taxis belonging to Taxi Skåne. Other taxi companies is for example: TaxiKurir and Taxi 020.

The fixed normal price Malmö - Lund is around 305 SEK,
Malmö airport (Sturup) - Lund around 425 SEK
and Copenhagen airport (Kastrup) - Lund is the price around 980 SEK.

Make sure that you ask for the "university price" before entering the taxi. You can sometimes find cheaper fares with other companies, but you should never pay much more!

From Copenhagen Airport

There are direct trains from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö Central station, departures every 20 minutes during daytime and evenings and approximately every hour during nights (timetable). The trip Lund C-Kastrup takes about 30 minutes. There are ticket machines close to the tracks. Some trains are through-trains and will continue to Lund after Malmö Central station. Otherwise change to local train (Pågatåg) or taxi to Lund

From Malmö-Sturup Airport

There are special busses (Flygbussarna) between Malmö-Sturup Airport and Lund from early morning to evening. The travel time is less than 40 minutes. You can also use a taxi.

From the railway station to MAX-lab

A nice 20-30 min walk (through the town center and the University area)
A short taxi ride.
Local bus nr 1 towards "Flygelvägen" takes 6 minutes. (get off at "Tunav-LTH" or "Sparta")
Local bus nr 6 towards "Mårtens fälad" takes 7 minutes (get off at "Sparta")
The buses stop at Clemenstorget at the north exit from the station across the street.
You can also rent a bike at Lundahoj.
