The BioMAX beamline will be dedicated to the needs of the Swedish macromolecular crystallography community. It will offer a high-brilliance, tunable, monochromatic X-ray source with state-of-the-art performance in terms of low beam-divergence, high X-ray flux and variable beam size, allowing work with both small crystals and large unit cells. This high performance X-ray beamline will be complemented by a high level of user support including rapid automated sample changing facilities, crystal alignment software, on the fly data analysis and remote data collection options.
